He came to America with his family in 1868 , arriving in the Valley on 20 August 1868 . They moved on to Logan where they lived out their lives. Thomas was a member of the School of the Prophets. He and his wife were active members of the church all their lives and were good neighbors and friends to everyone. They taught their children well and brought them up knowing the gospel.
