p. 242-43 (3 Feb 1902) funeral Myron Shadrach Roundy, coun. John W. Berry conducted the services… details… Wm Ford & James Stapley “said they had known Bro. Roundy a long time, had labored with him in the Bpric and as Ward Teacher and in other ways and they found him always ready and willing to do his duty… Charles Parker Sen. Said he had been acquainted with the deceased 45 years and he thot nothing would deprive him of a place and that an exalted one in the Kingdom of God…”
p. 220, 31 Mar. 1901 “Sister Sophia Parker related circumstances connected with her life, of healing where her life had been preserved…”
p. 250, 4 May 1902 “Sister Sophia Parker bore testimony that many prophecies had been fulfilled and many predictions were yet to come to pass…”

p. 250 (4 May 1902)… “Joel J. Roundy then read from the 13th chapter of Matthew concerning the parable of the wheat and the tares; Commenting on same how they grow together and how they must in due time be separated… Sister Sophia Parker bore testimony that many prophecies had been fulfilled and many predictions were yet to come to pass…”
p. 264 (24 Sept 1902) Special occasion with Joseph F. Smith and party present. “Apostle Hyrum M. Smith remembered how, when he was here before, the meeting house was dirty and filthy but what a difference now. He thanked the Lord that his and Apostle Woodruff’s words had been appreciated. He wished to impress upon the people the necessity of fencing the public square. He was very much in favor of good Dramatic Associations and down on dancing.”
p. 267 (5 Oct 1902) Sophia Parker bears testimony—no details
p. 273 (21 Dec 1902) Memorial Service for Joseph Smith, “Sister Sophia Parker, who was personally acquainted with the Prophet [related] incidents of interest which came under her own observation. Her father, Shadrach Roundy, assisted in dressing the Martyrs. She witnessed the funeral serves and beheld the faces of the dead.

p. 4 (3 Dec 1905) prayer by James Stapley… bishop intends to move away, Joseph S. Berry, new bishop John W. Berry, with James W. Williams first counselor, second “was deferred to a later date”.
pp. 10-11 (18 Feb 1906) Stake President Uriah T. Jones called meeting to “devise some plan to visit the families in their homes more than they have been…” “… and Brother James Stapley all were pleased with the timely suggestions and expressed their willingness to do their duty regarding the same…. Bp. Jos. S. Berry said: We who are here are the leaders of this ward. He did not believe that those who said they were willing to do their part were telling the truth. Said he thought he was to blame for part of the neglect… Prest. Uriah T. Jones then said there was a falling away; that faith in the work is growing weak.” [Bp. Jos. S. Berry is this the son in-law of Almeda Sophia Roundy Parker?]

Stapley was on a Southern States Mission; benediction by James Stapley. [Williams Rees Davies 1805-1865 and Rachel Morris 1803-1882 grandparents of John Davis Williams 1857-1927. John Davis Williams 1857-1927 m. Susannah Minerva Roundy. John was the son of Elizabeth Davies 1829-1890 and Rees Jones Williams 1819-1860. ]

Elizabeth was the sister of James George Davis 1832-1909.]

Berry said the gospel embraces all truth and good; Said we should improve our water system by keeping our ditches clean; Spoke of making our square beautiful by planting trees, shrubbery etc. as it was advised by Apostle Geo. F. Richards [p. 42] and Elder Charles H. Hart of the Presidents of Seventy;…
p. 45 (June 1907)… Bro James Stapley gave a brief sketch of his parents coming to Utah. Said they were among the first freemen to leave England for Australia where he was born in 1838. They after hearing of the gospel started for Utah coming by way of SanBedro [sic, San Bernardino] California, and were a long time crossing the ocean; was thankful for the limited education he had.”
p. 46 (12 July 1907) special meeting with Apostles Lyman and McKay; prayer by Joel J. Roundy… Lyman “said he was pleased with the condition of our Meeting house…” McKay “began by asking, ‘If an Angel were here to grant us any desire of our hearts, what above all else on earth would we ask for?... [p. 47]” ought to seek a testimony.
p. 48 (21 July 1907) Joel J. Roundy gave prayer; “The time was taken up by James Stapley who gave a brief account of his visit to California where he and his daughter Mary went to visit his two sisters and attended the National Education Association at Los Angeles.”

Hyrum C. Ford spoke of hearing Sister Parker bear her testimony of the identity of the Prophet Joseph Smith, and of her good works in availing herself of her opportunities. He expressed his desire to prove himself as excellent an example to all this sister has done.
Reese Jones Williams told of his neighborly acquaintance of this departed soul, and of the preparation of receiving a valuation hereafter. The privelage of hearing the testimony of one who saw the “Prophet.”
Closed by singing “Resurrection Day” benediction by Riley G. Williams. About 124 present.
