Kanarraville, Iron, Utah - Photos

There is a letter on the back of this card from Charles Parker Jr. to his future brother in-law John Andrew Wood. (I will add the letter.)

Kanarraville Wedding Reception for John Davis PARKER [Dee] (1891-1960) and Effa Mariah MULLINER (1895-1969) married 1 Jun 1915 in St. George, Utah LDS Temple.

Left are the adopted parents of the brides, Reese Jones Williams, Jr. (1851-1933) and Martha Maria (Davies) Williams (1854-1926) the bride and goom, seated back right is father of the groom Charles PARKER (1853-1935) seated in front right is mother of the groom Elizabeth Ann DAVIS (1859-1927)

[Deceased parents of the bride were Margrette Allena DAVIES (1869-1897) and Robert Madison MULLINER (1867-1897).]

Effa's mother was Margrette was a second cousin to Dee's mother Elizabeth, their common grandparents were George MORRIS and Catherine ANTHONY.

My grandmother Laura Elizabeth Parker Wood had married and moved away from Kanarraville, Utah in 1910 but she owned a copy of this photo. In 1917 she was living in Hurricane, Utah. These women must be her very good friends and many of them are her cousins. One of them must have sent the photo.
