Charles Horald MONSON and Amy Ella HAWKES SMITHAfter the death of Ella's husband George Ensign SMITH and the death of Charles MONSON's wife Ortencia Hendricks MERRILL MONSON, Ella and Charles married.
Ella had known Charles as a young women in Logan, Utah. They meet again as widow and widower while on a trip to Hawaii with the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. They married soon after. Then spent a wonderful 17 months together traveling, before Ella's death.
