Camilla was the daughter of Martin Luther ENSIGN and Mary DUNN.
George Ensign SMITH (known as Ensign) was a 4th generation Mormon.
His parents who were born in Utah before the train, were Mormon Pioneers.

Ensign's grandmother Sarah Jane INGRAM SMITH had been a little girl orphan in Nauvoo. Both her parents had died near St. Louis when they arrive from England on their way to Nauvoo. They left three small children. Ensign's great grandfather Simeon Adams DUNN's home is still standing in Nauvoo, IL. Great grandfather Daniel William SMITH and great grandmother Adaline RAWSON DUNN are both buried in the old Nauvoo cemetery. Grandfather Martin Luther ENSIGN with his parents and siblings only live there a couple weeks before moving on to Winter Quarters, where Martlin's father Horace Datus ENSIGN died.
