George & John Russell. John Hudson lived on his land at Namaskeeset. Quoted from Reg. VI:93 in "Pioneers of MA" by Charles Henry Pope, orig.1900. Lysander Salmon Richards, in "History of Marshfield" 1901, says th Colonial Ancestor of the town was John Rogers, who came from England to Barbadoes in April 1635. His first entrance to America was in Scituate, but he removed to Marshfield in 1647, until his death in 1661.
