SPECIAL SERVICES AT THE TABERNACLE.

On Sunday, June 18th, special services will be held in the tabernacle in this city at the unveiling of the life sized oil paintings of the late Jonathan C. Wright and Samuel Smith, which will be hung one on each side of the painting of President Lorenzo Snow. Those two worthies were counselors to President Snow in his colonization of Brigham City and the labors that he performed here in early days, and when the painting of President Snow had been hung in place, there were some funds over, so the stake presidency decided to have a painting of his right hand men made, and an order was forthwith placed with Artist L. A. [Lewis Alois] Ramsey, who painted President Snow.

A meeting will be held at 10 o’clock, which is arranged specially for the old folks, and it is earnestly desired that as many of them as can possibly get out, will be present at the session, In the afternoon, the Sunday school workers and children, as well as the old folks, can be accommodated, and the following program for each session has been prepared.
