Hi,

My name is Chris Thomson. I am the 10th Great-Grandson of William Warriner and Jane Harvard. I am the 9th Great Grandson of their son, William Warriner who was born in 1581. I found your blog and the reference to a William Warriner who was born in 1581 and the son of Jane Harvard. THis seems very close to the entries my research found in my family tree. My tree stopped at William Warriner/Jane Harvard (for which I only have names).

My information on William Warriner b.1581 is as follows:
b 1581 in Lincolnshire, England
d.02 Jun 1676 in Springfield, Mass
Married to Joanne Searle b.1615

It appears that my 9th Great Grandfather is the Willaim Warriner on your blog with the mother of Jane Harvard. I wanted to see if any of the information I noted above about William Warriner matched what may not be displayed in your blog and can confirm if I can trace my family back to Edward.

Thank you in advance for your response.

Another question is that you have the following family tree notes linking William Warriner to Edward III:

King Edward III of Englandb.1312
John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster b.1340
Countess Joan DE BEAUFORD of Westmorland b.1379
Cecily NEVILLE b.1415
Edward IV PLANTAGENET King Of England b.1441
Anne PLANTAGENET Duchess of York, Countess of Surrey b.1475
Admiral Thomas III Duke Of Suffolk, Howard b.1511
Alice HARVER OR HARVARD OR HOWARD b.1551
William WARRINER Emigrant b.1581

What I am trying to determine is how you get from Anne PLANTAGENET Duchess of York, Countess of Surrey to Alice Harvard because I believe Anne of York only had one son and he died at the age of 12. You are showing a Admiral Thomas III Duke Of Suffolk, Howard was born the year his mother Anne of york died.
I thought the line stopped there since she outlived her children (i thought), but I may be mistaken.

I really appreciate the help!
