My mother had a baby in Feb that year, she was a full time nurse. Her husband was a graduate student while he was teaching elementary school full time. They both held callings at church and my mother made all four of our Easter dresses. The parents of the other girls in the photo rented half of the Duplex from my parents. My grandmother who had lived there moved to California for a time.

Three of four Easter dresses here were made by their mother. She had learned from her mother to make Easter dresses. She had also learned to be a stay at home mother.
